About Me

Howdy, I'm Tannaki, and welcome to my weird website thingy. You probably have a few questions... Read up on some answers down below. Click anyhwere for some cool music. [ALSO, I KNOW THE PAGE IS A LITTLE BLAND AT THE MOMENT. SORRY ABOUT THAT! WORKING ON SOME VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS SOON!]

Q - Why'd you make this site?

A - I like Shadow   :P   (But for a more serious answer: I wanted a project I could continuously update over time, both to keep track of my own life in a place I can't "lose" so to speak - I could forget a login but I can't lose a website I guess - and to make something where I could post some form of content. I've always wanted to be a content creator, but with the current state of my life, it's just not very realistic for me to put a ton of time into the typical "create videos or stream" content creation. A website where I post game reviews and news plus blog and talk about my own life and interests sounds like a decent enough substitute for the time being. That's not to say I expect people to care about me or my opinions, but who knows?

Q - Why do you talk so much?

A - I don't really know.

Q - Best Sonic game?

A - Yeah.

Q - That wasn't a yes or no question.

A - It is now.

Q - How old are you?

A - I'm seventeen. I was more or less, for lack of a less corny term, raised on the web, so I grew up in a time where people were still hanging onto/just moving on from things like Myspace, and I strongly remember 2010s internet culture to this day. (People saying Gen Alpha is cooked is dumb imo. We had MLG edits. We're just as fried.) Because of all that, I sometimes aim for a bit more of a "legacy" look in my stuff. (Also, I suck at HTML so an older site look is just easier lol)

Q - Any goals?

A - The obvious stuff. Do well in school, get a nice job, lead a happy life. The more "extra" stuff? Meet Ian Flynn, Meet Roger Craig Smith, Meet Roger Clarke (big fan or the Rogers), Be on TV, Be a well-known content creator, and the REAL big stretch goal: someday work on the Sonic IDW comics/help write for the Sonic games. I am insanely inspired by Evan Stanley's work and how she began as someone who created fan content for the Sonic series and now does some great work for the series' official lore.

Q - Why are you formatting this like an interview? I mean, you're typing as if this is an actual back and forth conversation between you and an interviewer. I'm not an interviewer. I'm you.

A - ...What?

Q - Content creators that inspire you?

A - It honestly depends on the day LOL. Number one is pretty much always CoryXKenshin. Been a samurai since around 2016 I believe? His content is the type of stuff I'd love to do someday, with a mix of IRL stuff thrown in there, though I'm not sure at all what that would entail. For now though, I'm definitely aligned more with a clear Scott the Woz or [insert generic Nintendo fan rant-tuber here] inspiration, though I don't have many videos posted right now to show that.

Q - What are your goals with this site?

A - In the long run, I'd love to interview some Youtubers and possibly even people that work on the Sonic series and post the interviews here. Obviously in text form to keep it simple for now, but perhaps audio interviews will be possible somewhere down the road. We'll see, I guess!

Q - Any other words for the people still reading this far down for some reason?

A - If you got this far, I assume you care, even if it's just a bit. For that, I thank you. Have a great day.
